Sweet Gum Ball and Nut Tips: The Nut Wizard is easy to use for Sweet Gum Balls and nuts, these notes are just to help you when you first get your Nut Wizard. Check the Nut Wizard; wires around the basket should be evenly spaced (not perfectly, just close to the same). If they are not, use your fingers (and sometimes some muscle) to move the wires beside the washer on each side of the Nut Wizard. Aim the arch of the basket that touches the ground toward the gum ball or nuts. Push the basket a complete rotation to knock any gum balls or nuts that stick between the wires in, twisting the basket to one side or another as needed. The Nut Wizard works best when there is at least a little space between each nut or gum ball. Do not rake nuts or gum balls into a pile before using the Nut Wizard. Experiment with how fast you push the Nut Wizard. Going too slow could cause the gum balls or nuts to stick between the wires. Going too fast could throw them out. Do not overfill the Nut Wizard; empty it before it gets completely full. Since gum balls cling together, you will need some extra space to shake them out. All three sizes of the Nut Wizard will pick up sweet gum balls. The small size takes the most effort to empty and will hold the fewest number of gum balls. The large size is the easiest to unload and will hold the most gum balls. Your satisfaction is guaranteed within 30 days of purchase. If you are not satisfied, you may return your Nut Wizard as long as you have treated it with respect. Please clean it before returning. The amount you paid Seeds and Such, Inc. for your Nut Wizard will be refunded less the amount of the original shipping (and return shipping if you request a return shipping label from Seeds and Such, Inc.).
